Second Chances

Do you believe in Second Chances?

Some people would say that "giving someone a second chance is like giving them another bullet because they missed you the first time", while some say that "second chances work out better than the first because you already learned from your mistakes".  Contradicting isn't it?  It's just a matter of how strong you are of your decisions.  And how you'll be able to stand by that decision and accept whatever will it turned out.  It may not always be a happy ending but, what if it is is your happy ending?  

I have once read a quote and it says, "You will never truly know something unless it actually happens to you".  This is so true.  One lesson that became my mantra in life "Don't judge someone, you may not know what he or she is going through in life at that moment."

Second chances may be applied in Life, Love and Career.  It can be someone from your past who have done you bad before and asks for your forgiveness now.  Or in career, wherein your boss gave you another project even though your first one has low turnout. It can also be a family member who is still in the process of healing and still hasn't ready to ask for forgiveness.

If you will ask me if I believe in Second Chances, I would positively say YES.  Why?  Because I would rather have a life with "Oh wells" than a life of "What ifs".  In the end, we only regret the chance we didn't take.

I say, give yourself a second chance.  Give others your second chance. Embrace opportunity to do better than what you did before.  This may be the good time to get started.
